Notification to a All People Assigned to Org Unit

Hi,
I have a requirement to Send a Notification to an authorized person in
the ORG Unit.

This Task is a background task which uses the BO SELFITEM and Method
SENDTASKDESCRIPTION. 
I can send the notification by passing a value thru address strings.How
do i send the notification by selecting from Org Unit.I cannot use a
rule as this task is a background task.Is there any FM to determine that
persons from that Org Unit .Or is there any other method to solve this
issue.
