Workflow trace in production system not working

Actually, that's for the Event Trace. You want to turn ON the Workflow
trace using SWU8 and view it through SWU9.
The list is grouped by user, so you need to double-click on an entry to
drill-down and view the extended list.

Hi all,
 
I've having problem which occur only in production system. Therefore I
wanted to test it in further details using the workflow trace. For some
reason, it doesn't work even though its active - it simply doesn't
record any lines.
 
Any idea why ?
