Well firstly, this is NOT a workflow problem.

This is a SRM problem - sounds like your configuration is incorrect or
you have some special

setting in your backend that is stopping your PO from being created.

Talk to your SRM analyst, check the messages returned via the
Application Monitors in the web menu for the SRM Administrator,

Try running the shopping cart monitor also to see what error messages
exist.

Please only send workflow related issues here - if you check your
workflow via transaction SWI6 (object type BUS2121 - object key =
shopping cart number)

or via transaction BBP_PD you should see the workflow has completed. In
which case the problem is not workflow related.

There are other forums on SDN for SRM.

Hi,

1.	We are upgrading from EBP 2.0 to latest SRM.
2.	For testing we've enable the standard zero step, one step and
two step approval workflows.
3.	Once a cart is created the workflow runs fine,
4.	However in the end the we the get the following message BAPI 001
: No instance of object type Purchase order has been created. External
reference
5.	We have a separated R/3 system, where the purchase order is
created. The RFC destinations seems to be working fine.
6.	We have no clue where this error is coming from and where to
start

Regards,

Manish
