UWL: Workitem send date

Hello all,
 
in our UWL the WIs's send date is the actual send date - 1 (Workflow
protocol in the Backend). I thought the UWL gets the send date right
from the WI container? Obvioulsy it doesnt. Any idea what could be the
problem?
