Hi Dave
Have you set the workflow step or task you are trying to send to the agents as being a general task?
I have had this error before when forgetting to set the task as a general task.

Hope this helps

Hi Mark and Nat,

Mark, thanks for your reply. I'll continue with my responsibility approach, even though it's a rather large list.

Nat,

Transaction OOCU_RESP.

To be more precise:
The transaction for rule creation is PFAC.
Maintaining responsibility rule in a production environment (where the system is set to unchangeable) can be done using transaction OOCU_RESP.
Cheers,
Anke

G'day Anke,Nice button. Amazing what you don't find sometimes. That sortable overview basically makes me a happy camper. My other main issue was the inability to see the maintained data sets as a whole to determine if all possibilities are covered. But the overview button handles that as well. Embarrassing really. Thanks for the tip. I agree that being able to maintain from the overview would be the icing on the cake.Have fun,MarkOn 6/7/06, Anke Libeton <anke_libeton at hotmail.com> wrote:

(Still need to load/enter it all once it's been finalised.)Why do you say that the custom table with programmed rule is better? Whatother limitations have you come across, Mark? Thanks,Anke LibetonAustralia----Original Message Follows---- From: "Mark Pyc" <mark.pyc at gmail.com>Reply-To: "SAP Workflow Users' Group" <sap-wug at mit.edu>To: "SAP Workflow Users' Group" < sap-wug at mit.edu>Subject: Re: Standard RulesDate: Mon, 5 Jun 2006 10:46:44 +0100G'day Nat,As far as !
I knew responsibility rules have never self sorted. This is one of their limitations and why I have a general rule that if there are too manyentries for you to periodically drop them and reenter them, you have toomuch data for a responsibility rule and you're better off with a custom table and programmed rule.If there are any notes that improve their functionality I be keen to hear.Have fun,MarkOn 6/5/06, Nat 4 Govender <ngovender4 at toyota.co.za > wrote:>> Hi All,>>We are currently on 4.7 and a problem in that once we enter the values for>a rule they are not sorted.>>Previously in 4.6c these entries where sorted. >>Is there any settings that I should change so that these entries are>sorted.>>>>>Regards>>Nat Govender>Toyota South Africa>IT - SAP Workflow Specialist >Internal Ext. : 32645>Direct Line : +27 031 910 2645>Fax : +27 031 902 9633>E-mail : ngovender4 at toyota.co.za>================================================================== >Forgiveness is when one relinquishes!

Hi all,

I have an attribute of a business object containing a userid that I need
to use as the agent for a workflow step. I have set the type to SWHACTOR
and have leading 'US'
before the userid. I have assigned a number of possible agents to an org
structure position and assigned the position to the task. When I run the
workflow the container shows
the attribute value correctly with leading 'US' and the userid is one of
the possible agents but the error 'Result of agent resolution does not
agree with agents of task' appears
and stops the workitem being sent to any agent's inbox.
I've gone around in circles with this one - any ideas folks?

thanks in anticipation.........

Dave Dartnell
