SC Workflow Task Binding - Issue

Hello!

I am facing a weird problem, related to task binding. 
Need some help to troubleshoot this issue.

Here is the scenario:

1. SC Workflow task that determine approving manager
(agent) id, calls a method to return agent id.  I have
tested the associated FM and Method, all works just
fine and returns correct agent id.

2. Defined Task binding is supposed to move "approver
id" from task container to "last_approver" in
workflow. BUT for some reason, Actual Agent Id is
getting moved to "last_approver".

3. When I tried to automatically generate the binding,
system bind "WF Actual Agent" from task container to
"last approver" in WF container.  

3. Due to the above binding issue, SAP inbox
notification goes to the SC creator instead of
approving manager.

Has anyone faced this type of issue before?
