DynamicParameter in UWL

Jacob,
Start by turning on the UWL Support option - it's one of the parameters
in the UWL iview configuration in the Portal content directory. This
will show a bunch of information below each item so you can confirm
technical details of the item.

You could also add the externalObjectId as a display attribute to a
custom view using the <ItemType> and <View> tags.

externalObjectId may not be the best choice - you can also create your
own custom attributes and refer to them in the same manner..... i.e. use
the <ItemType> and <Attributes> tag to set up custom attributes, and
then refer to them in your dynamic parameter as ${item.myattributeid}

Also check your release/patch levels for your portal - a couple of
patches can make a LOT of difference at the moment.

Subject: DynamicParameter in UWL

Hi,
     I'm launching a BSP iView using a dynamic parameter:

<Property name="DynamicParameter" value="ID=${item.externalObjectID}" />

When I launch these items in the UWL the ${item.externalObjectID} is
incorrectly returned in the URL as null. Where can I go to troubleshoot
this? I can see that the object of the task is instanciated and shows
up in _WI_OBJECT_ID in the container.

Thanks,
Jacob
