Have a look for notes - I had a similar problem in January when we
applied a note which is probably now part of SP 9. Support did come up
with a solution (another note) but I don't have the reference to hand.
Regards,
Mark

Subject: SRM 5.00 support package 9 - "disaster" in WF 14500015 -
Item-Based Main WF
Hello guys,
After upgrading our system to SP 09, a very strange behaviour occurs in
the 14500015 workflow.
The process goes into what looks like an infinite loop, the technical
log looks like this:
Do Other Approvers Exist? Other Approvers Exist
Beginning of Fork
Subworkflow Parallel, Dynamic
Wait for Restart
Increment Loop Counter Loop Counter Incremented
Determine next Approver
Increment Counter Counter Incremented
End of Fork 1(2)
This section goes on and on and on.... until the wf reaches 10,000 nodes
and is set into ERROR status.
Did anybody encounter such a problem ?
Needless to say, before the SP upgrade, everything was working fine.....
Thanks for your help,
Ronen
