work item pointing to a different object method

Hi,

I have a workitem, which calls a BO method...The BO method is a BDC call 
transaction. After I complete the method, I'm creating another work item 
referring to another method. But when I double click that work item, it 
calls the previous method, and not the current one. What could be the 
problem.
