opening work item from send mail task

Hi,

I need to send a mail to person (SAP User inbox) and consecutively open up a 
work item.
Is it possible to open a work item from the send mail task. Provide a 
hyperlink to a business object method, in the send mail task of a workflow. 
Other option would be to mail the person saying him, that a work item is 
present in your inbox, please go and open it. But is there a way to achieve 
the previous functionality.
