SC Item Approval- Radio Buttons not Active

Hi Raveen,
Yes those are the elements.

It's not a question of the guids being blank - more a question of
whether you have the relationship right between the
approval object guid on the ApproverList table and the items assigned to
that same approval object guid on the ApprovalItemList table.

Also you must have a unique approval object guid for each approval level
and group of items to be approved together. You cannot
share the same approval object guid across multiple approval levels,
even if you are approving the same groups of items at different levels.

Also suggest you check the approval state in the approverlist table for
that agent - it should be 5 "in process" . If not then
make sure you have applied all OSS notes, and if you still can't get it
working report it in to SAP formally.

Jocelyn Hi,

Thank you for you input.

I've tried to check what you have explained below by creating a
shopping cart with only 1 item and I'm not sure if I'm on the right
track, "elements holding the approval table" do you mean APPROVERLIST
and "the approval objects guid to item guid relationship" -
APPROVALITEMLIST.

If so, then in the APPROVERLIST there are 2 guids that are the same and
in the APPROVALITEMLIST there are 2 guids, the first is equal to the 2
in the APPROVERLIST and the other is equal to the approval item guid.

These and all other elements that contain guids are populated with guids
(none are blank).

Am I on the right track..?

Again, thanks for your input in advance.

Many Thanks.

Hi Raveen,

Check the workflow instance container and elements holding the approval
table and the approval objects guid to item guid relationship.

This can occur if you have a mismatch between the approval object guid
assigned on the approval table to that agent, and the item guids

assigned to the approval object guid - e.g. the item guids don't exists,
there are no item guids assigned to that approval object guid, the

approval object guid is not unique for that approval level (you cannot
re-use the same approval object guid for different levels, even if you
want the same

items at both levels).

Importance: High

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or I'm imagining things.

After a shopping cart is created and routed of approval, WS14500015
N-Step item Approval, the respective manager receives the workitem in
their inbox and can approve or reject directly from the worklist.

However if they click on the workitem to view details & then make their
decision the "APPROVED" & "REJECTED" radio buttons are visible but not
active, they cannot choose any option.

If anyone has had this problem, your input would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks.
