Starting WF from GOS with input parameters

Susan,

I like your thinking, but unfortunately the ApprovalAmount can't be
derived from anywhere (except perhaps by summing all lines in an
attached spreadsheet!) - it has to be specified by the user.

I suppose I could ask them to put the ApprovalAmount in the subject line
of the 'Note at Start'. I'll investigate that idea further.

Thanx for your thoughts!
Paul

Paul,

Have you considered 'Start with Details' ? It allows you to enter an
attachment, which is not ideal for your purposes, but perhaps you could
figure out how to get the ApprovalAmount from there...

Or wouldn't it be nice if ApprovalAmount is an attribute of your ZOBJ,
then you wouldn't have to mess with that. Is there any way you can do
that ?

Sorry, probably not much help; I guess I'm just thinking aloud.

Sue
