Starting WF from GOS with input parameters

Hi,

It's been all quiet on the WF front for a while, but I hope someone can
help me.

It's a challenging one: I am not sure if what I am trying to do is
possible.

We have implemented GOS (generic object services) for a custom BOR
object ZOBJ.
I have created a couple of workflows that can be started from GOS (via
the
'Start Workflow' menu). To make each workflow appear in the start list,
I specified that ZOBJ is the only (mandatory) input parameter.

Fine so far. Now I have a requirement for a workflow that requires _two_
input parameters: my object ZOBJ and an ApprovalAmount.

My question: Is there any way to ask the user to provide an
ApprovalAmount,
while starting the workflow?

I tried creating a 'Start Form' for this workflow, which contains just
the
field ApprovalAmount. The form is created ok, and can be accessed via
GOS,
but the workflow then fails to start because the 'mandatory input
parameter'
ZOBJ is missing.

Next I tried adidng ZOBJ's object key to the start form, but again no
joy.

Am I getting something obvious wrong? Hilfe bitte.

thanks
Paul
