No definitely not - there is no grandfather clause with substitution.

Otherwise you would never know who it would end up with.

If A substitutes to B who substitutes to C

B can see B's items and A's items

C can see C's items and B's items but not A's items

Subject: Substitutes of Substitutes

Hi,

As a substitute can 'see' the inbox of original approver, if a
substitution is active. Is this applicable for the substitute of
substitute and so on..

For eg..

B is substitute of A with active substitution. Hence B can see A's work
items.

And if

B is substitute of A with active substitution and C is substitute of B
with active substitution. Does C also see A's work items?

Regards,

Manish
