BUS2012 EDITASYN method R/3 4.7

Hi 

I am using elements of the standard R block workflow, in a customised
one One of the methods EDITASYNC seems to run ok completing when a
terminating event of change is issued. But then the workflow hangs, when
I look at the transactional RFC log, i see 

  

Can anyone give any advice as to where I should look
