Event queue related

*Could* be an authorization issue, I like to set the jobs up to run for user WF-BATCH.
In any case, do what you should always do:
1. Study the dump from the cancellation to find out what the problem is. 
2. Fix the problem and try again.
Repeat as needed.

	Thanks again.. 
	May be due to authorization problems, job was only getting scheduled and not released.

	Using different user ID , I am able to schedule and automatically get the status of the job as "Released" thro' Event queue's Schedule Background job option. However now I am facing another problem that is, Job is getting "Cancelled" every time, instead of getting "Finished" and events are not getting delivered. Also there are no logs for error or anything.
	Pls. suggest how to proceed further.

	A job that is just scheduled will never run. Scheduled just means the job has been defined, it must have status "released" to be scheduled in the ordinary sense of actually being set up to run. 
	Either release it manually or use SWEQADM (unschedule and then reschedule).

		Thanks for the guidance.
		I have checked the vent log and it shows as reqd- event put in event queue.

		Based on your inputs, I have checked and found that Job shows status as Scheduled, but there is no start time / end time , so I doubt whether it is running.

		Do I have to manually release or do something for the job?

		Have you:
		1) checked that the job really runs?
		2) checked that the job does not terminate during its run?
		3) switched on the event log and checked that the event is there?

		Some kind of error must occur. What is the error message?

			Hi All,

			Being new in event queue area, I am trying to set up an event queue and have done all settings related to it for BUS1001006 ( Material ) object's 'Created' event.
			I can also see events being entered in queue for the same.

			However the same are not being delivered by background job which I have scheduled during setting of event queue.
			Pls. let me know what might be the reason for the same?
