No successor defined for event

I had this error message before after Upgrade to 4.7. As MAPI was not
removed from users' Outlook, they could still see the work item and
execute them, as they used to with 4.6C, but now the execution result
could not get back to SAP. 

Please let me know if this is also your case.

Hi All,
I have a workflow in our production system  that has given the error
message "No successor defined for event".
It has only happened for this one workflow instance.
Has any one ever seen this message before and know what it means?
It is a dialog step and looking at the log it look like the user has
executed the step that errored.
