wait for event step

The workflow will of course have to be started before it can react to a
"wait for event" step. Whether it is started from an event or in some
other way does not matter.

So the answer is that it depends on how you want your workflow to start.

Subject: wait for event step

Hi,

While using wait for event step in a workflow, should we also assign a
start event for the workflow.
What I mean, is how will the workflow wait for event know that an event
it is waiting for is occured.
Is there any other way we should link the workflow and the event it is
waiting for? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vijay
