Hello Bijay,
Thanks a lot. Is it possible to send a copy of the XML generated when you resgister the work items for the SRM system in UWL Administration? I'd like to compare it with mine.
Thanks.

You are in same version as we are but I don't remember making any changes in XML file. And we do get the Approve/Reject when we execute the workitem.

Bijay,

Thanks for your response.

I have made the UWL configurations, and registered the SRM system object, and work items.

All the work items from the SRM inbox are displayed in the UWL, however, they return an ITS 500 Error when they are executed.I took a look at the XML file for the work items, and observed that the default SRM transaction for executing the work items is BBP_QUOT_EXTWF.

I copied the portion of the XML that contains the task (TS....) of the work items, and changed the transaction to BBPAPPROVAL, and when a work item is executed in UWL it displays the entire work items in the SRM's Approval Inbox.

The issue right now is how to display the Approve/Reject (BBP_QUOT_EXTWF) window when a work item is executed in the UWL, rather than the Approval Inbox (BBPAPPROVAL) window.

I'm using EP6.0/UWL SP9.

Thanks in advance.

Collins,

Before you jump into EP, please check if you have the workitems coming into your inbox via SRM logon. If it's there then it's the matter of adding SRM system into your UWL in EP.

What version of EP and UWL you are running? Are you having problem to figure out UWL settings? It'll be helpful if you narrow down your question.

Hello Bijay,

Please can you elaborate on how you configured your EP to execute the SRM work items. I have tried to achieve this without success, and I am about to raise an OSS message to resolve it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Lately I am seeing lots of SRM related discussions in this group.

We are implementing SRM 4.0 and EBP5.0. The approval workitems are coming to UWL fine. When we execute the work item from UWL we get the detail of that item where you can approve or reject and save it. That works fine too. The issue is we are missing a link "Back to Approval" on top of the page. This is link is there if we go through SRM logon page/Approval page.

Because this link is not there in UWL, if user decide not to approve or reject at that moment he can not back out. His only choice is to use Back button of UWL iView. That takes user back to the screen but his work item gets locked and can't do anything anymore.

Have anyone seen this issue?
