Hi Sushil,

This is what I would do assuming you have already determined you agents.

You can firstly assign a role say "Release PO" to all the possible agents.
In your task you then assign the attribute General and forwarding allowed
or not allowed thereafter you assign a role say "Release PO" and this become
your possible agents.

Hi WF Gurus,

I need to support over 50 plants and each plant has separate list of
approvers for each release code (of a PO). The users would like to have the
ability to select approvers on some cases and send the work item to all
approvers in others. I don't think building 50 branches with multiple
condition will be a good idea. Therefore I was thinking about building a
function module to handle this. However, since I have to define all
approvers as a possible agent (for the approval task) it will be hard to
analyze when there is a problem in workflow. Can you please suggest what
would be the best approach to handle this? (as to how to support the correct
list of possible agents and make sure we send the work items to correct
individuals).

I took a look at building rules but I did not see an option to build a rule
that will direct the work items to different roles. Looks like we can send
them to different individual, organization, position etc but we do not have
org structure setup in SAP and are using security roles to control different
group of approvers.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Sushil

Hi,

In SBWP when we double click a workitem, it opens up in the same session of
SBWP. How do I make it open up in a new window, also wanted to know in the
Workflow Activities there is a tab called WI Display, where we can input an
FM name, and a program and screen name. Could anyone tell me what it's
significance is? Thanks for your suggestions in advance

Rgds,
Vijay

There is a link named "personalize", from there you can set it

Otherwise you can edit xml of your system and upload again.

there is an tag named "open in new window" default value is "no", you can
change it to yes.

Vijay - with a straight functionality question please read the SAP Library
help before asking the WUG.
This functionality is explained in the SAP Library help.

You create the text in various languages in PFTC.
The option to display the text in logon language (instead of the logon
language of the user that created the task) is one of the options in
personal workflow settings. Mind you, this only applies to the work item
text in 46C

Flag: Work item texts in logon language
Indicator denoting that all work item texts in the Business Workplace are
always displayed in the logon language of the user.

If the user's logon language is different from the language in which the
work item was originally created, additional database accesses are required,
which may delay the construction of the Business Workplace.

Good day all.
A quick questions. Is it possible to set task description based on logon
language? Where and how we set it up?
