To enhance the shopping cart workflow

Ashish,
Why don't you use the Purchase Completion workflow for the administrator
- that doesn't give approve/reject, but it does give change which would
allow an administrator to add the appropriate approver.

Hi Manish,
Thanks for your response; but my requirement is to implement the
following:
1. When there is no approver found for a shopping cart created by a
user; then the shopping cart has to go to an Administrator. Now, it is
theoretically possible that an administrator may create a shopping cart
and does not maintain any approvers. In such a case, the shopping cart
goes to an administrator(which is himself).
To make the point clearer, depending on the start conditions(approver
found or not, no of approvers required) a different workflow is
triggered.

What we would want to do is not to allow the workitem to be
executed(approve/reject), but otherwise, the workitem should go to the
administrator so that he may forward the workitem.

Excluding an adminstrator would not be helpful here.

Please let me know of any ideas on achieving this.

Thanks.
Ashish

	Hi ,

I have a requirement in the Shopping cart workflow as follows.

If a shopping cart does not find approvers or both the approver
and the substitute approver dont react for a certain no of days, the
workitem goes to an administrator defined in a custom table. Normally,
the administrator too is able to approve the shopping carts.

We want to restrict the administrator from being able to
approve, as theoretically , he can create a shopping cart and approve
it; which we want to avoid.

The restriction could be for SCs created by him or alternatively
for all shopping carts.

Please let me know what can be done here.

For Information: The whole process takes place in the front end
(IE browser) ; connected to the backend EBP system.

	Thanks in advance,

	Ashish
