Deadline after resubmission....

Hi.

I have a requirement to allow a workitem to be resubmitted, i.e. put into 'sleep mode', for a specified number of days. Initially I could not resubmit to a date later than the latest end date, but the application of OSS note 0000710307 (Inconsistent deadline data during resubmission) resolved this problem.

The problem I have now, though, is that I want the deadline date to be 7 days after either the initial start date, or, if the workitem has been resubmitted, then 7 days after the 'new' desired start date. For the workitem I have specified the latest end date as an expression, 7 days after DesiredStartDate / DesiredStartTime. When the workitem is created, these fields are blank, but the deadline works fine, 7 days (actually 10 minutes for test purposes) after creation. However, if the workitem is resubmitted, the deadline date is not recalculated, and the workitem appears in the overdue entries folder, along with a notification in the deadline messages, after 10 minutes.

What do I need to do to have the workitem recognise the new deadline date?

Thanks.

Nigel.
