Withdraw a PReq/PO/ Contract Release Request

Hi,

This is a question for an SAP 46C system.

Once the user or requestor starts a release workflow for any of these document types, how do they cancel or withdraw the release request? Once they save the document and it's release relevant, the system sends a release request. After the fact they realize that they don't want it any more so how can they cancel this request? 

Also, there is no systematic way for the approver to reject a release request for a PO and Contract using the standard SAP transaction, how do they refuse/reject in order for the requestor to be notified systematically?
