Change EBP workflow status to a custom one

Raju,
I don't have a problem with you copying the workflow - that's fine.

But the status is an entirely different matter. It's not just whether
it works now - its the impact on upgrade as well.

You would be better off leaving the status as-is, and making a cosmetic
change to the text displayed in check status. That would still be a mod
but at least you wouldn't be risking destroying the shopping cart
handling processing.

Johnson,

Yes. The apporval preview wont work automatically when you copy the
workflow. I had to make changes such as making it 'Adhoc' and change the
settings in workflow program exits tab. Then it is started behaving. I
had to do n-step approval and there are no BADIs for the version I am
in. Next version above 3.5 has BADI's. I do not know for sure in 5.0
when you copy a WF the preview works automatically.

The FM you mentioned works for existing status only. My issue is to
create a new one. After that I will use the F to change the status

Thanks
Raju

	Hi Raju,
Not sure whether this will work. Have a look at function

I am curious to read that you had modified EBP shopping cart
workflow.

I just want to ask you whether you faced any problem with
'Approval'
preview from SRM portal. When I created my own with copy of SAP
template, the preview was not working as expected.

	Hi,
I had to modify EBP shopping cart workflow.
Although the cart is approved by all apporvers the workflow
status is
still 'Awaiting approval' until a backend doument is created in
R/3.
Is there a way to change the status 'Awaiting approval' to user
defined
status before it hits the backend R/3?
	Thanks
	Raju
