Executing workitem from Lotus Notes

Klaus,

I'm afraid I don't know much about using Lotus Notes for this...I would assume that if you can configure SCOT for sending emails to your LN inbox, then RSWUWFML2 will work for you.

Margaret,

I do have the same issue in lotus notes. My customer would like to use only LN to point to the SAP outbox.

My question is, do I need to have portals installed to have this link active and what would be the exact text of the link, if portals is not required.

Thanks Klaus

John,

You can send workitems to Outlook using report RSWUWFML2. The email can include a shortcut for the recipient to log in to SAP. However if you want to avoid logging into SAP altogether, as you might in the case of an approval type of item, then you have to set up your system to receive email and parse it. You may find some useful information in the thread I started on 9/9 with the subject "Send an approval from mobile device (i.e. Blackberry)".

Hope that helps,
