Interactive Forms(Adobe) workflows with the Enterprise 4.7 backendsystem

Hi Kjetil,

No - the SAP NetWeaver 04 platform would be a Java Stack without business content.

The correct approach is to use the SAP NetWeaver 04 platform for the form application, and put the workflow in R/3 4.7 where the business content resides.

Since we don't use 4.7 and I haven't been working on our 6.x systems I can not help you with the details, but I can ask you a question :-)

Isn't your primary problem that they use a 4.7 system - meaning that they wouldn't want to have the workflow running there?
If the workflow *can* run in the NW04 system, wouldn't it be just as easy to set up ALE for the organisation hierarchy as it would be to create RFC FM's which perform the role resolution on the 4.7 system.
