SOX and SAP Workflow

All companies listed on US stock exchanges have to abide by those rules. Statoil is a Norwegian company, but there's no pardon.
 
The workflow I have been working on lately is a reimplementation of our approval solution for purchasing documents in order to improve tracking possibilities.
Customer: the SOX implementation project.
 
We haven't implemented many new workflows as far as I know, but controls have been tightened and reporting increased.

	DMS can be used as a document repository to hold supporting documentation for items such as journal entries. It can then be linked to the SAP object to provide a document trail.

	I am afraid this question is a bit biased to our American counter parts.....

	 

	A client has just asked us what are some of the common Workflows that US companies have implemented in help with their SOX compliance. I know that SAP provides a WF for the whistleblower functionality using internal service requests. What other scenarios have people implemented?
