Ananth,

Does the event log SWEL show the event?
Check this first but most likely you delegated LIKP to ZLIKP (as you shoud) and now the workflow is waiting for LIKP-PostGoodsIssue while ZLIKP-PostGoodsIssue is raised.

Subject: Post Goods Issue

Hi All,

I have a scenario like this.

After the Delivery order is created by User1 using VL01N transaction,
then the workitem is sent to the User2 to do VL02N to put in extra
details and also do Post Goods Issue. After this is done, then
workitem is sent to User3 to create Invoice for the Delivery Order
created. All are done in the same flow.

But the problem is after putting the details, if the User2 does not do
the Post Goods Issue, then the delivery order is not complete and
therefore User3 cannot do the invoice for that delivery.

I created an event PostGoodsIssue event for the Customized business
object (LIKP) and using Status management (BSVW)

Status OT = VBK
Business Object = ZLIKP
Event = PostGoodsIssue

Status Restriction has been set to PSTO ( Post Goods Issue) and put
that Wait Event in the workflow.

When I trigger the workflow, and after the User2 puts in the details
of the delivery order and does not do Post Goods issue initially. A
notification mail is sent to the user to do the Post Goods Issue, the
user executes the VL02N transaction outside workflow and does the Post
Goods Issue, but the wait event doesnt seem to be triggering for the
workflow to continue.

Can somebody let me know, how the PGI wait can be triggered, so that
the flow is completed or is there something I am missing here.

Thanks in advance,
Ananth
