query regd secondary method

Hi,

I have a workflow linked to a business object event. In the workflow an 
activity has a secondary method. the method opens up when the work item is 
clicked. It is a report wherein one can enter a document number and it shows 
up a display of the details of the document. For some reason when i enter 
the document number and press F8 it goes to the SAP initial screen(the 
screen which comes after we logon). It doesn't show up the report. Any clues 
as to why this happens....
