Workflow call from CRM to IS-U

Hello all,
 
I want to create a workflow which runs in SAP CRM as in IS-U.
How can this be done and is this easy to do?
 
Does this have to work via RFC's or Badi's? Is there a standard way / method to use?
 
Can anyone explaine this to me?
