Actually, as Jocelyn Dart pointed out, I had to re-register workitem
types in UWL administration.
Thank you to everyone who helped get through this.

HI Natasha,
this error is coz its trying to use SAP GUI for Web.
you have to go and change the default Iview template to use "SAP GUI for
Windows".
hope this helps,

Hello,
I have successfully created a webtask that I am able to display and
execute in the UWL which performs a callback to the workflow. Then I
wanted to practice again, and decided to create a second task that calls
exactly the same BSP. As far as I can tell from comparing all config
entries, everything is the same. But, the first task works and second
doesn't. See the difference in the logs displayed in EP (before
clicking on the hyperlink to open the task). Once you click on the
hyperlink, the second task gets EP error:
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
Application URL ':///webgui/!' is not valid! Please check the protocol
and host entries for system 'SAP_ERP'..
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
Fist Task that works:
Item Type Configuration Name
uwl.webflow.SAP_ERP
Item Type
uwl.task.webflow.TS98100004.SAP_ERP
External Item Type
TS98100004
Second task doesn't work.
Item Type Configuration Name
uwl.webflow
Item Type
uwl.task.webflow.default
External Item Type
Thank you for your help.
