Try method FINDUSERFROMAGENTSTRUCTURE of Bus. Object USR01 which will generate USR01 from a user id with US. USR01-ID will have the user id without US.

I need to have the user id separated for US+UserID that is populated in WFSYST-AGENT to pass the user id back to another function module. Is there an easy/standard way to do it (in SWDD)? Please help.
