Problem with MacIntosh

I am having a weird problem with the Macintosh.  This does not occur on
the PC.

If only one workitem is in the inbox, then all is well.

If more than one workitem is in the inbox, it will not allow the first
item to be processed ( approved, rejected nor cancel). It acts as if it is
processing than goes back to the workitem.. 

However, the second item processes ok.  We have to process all the items
then we can process the first. 

I tested it at my site,  and sure enough I re-enacted the problem.

Please help!!
