PA40 background method for personnel actions ?

David,
No BAPI but the following FM is used all over the place in HR:
HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.
You could use it to fill IT0000 (Actions) (dont' forget the secondary
IT0302) and then create the absence with the absence BAPI.

Thanks again Claude, just as a follow up the BAPI creates the absence OK
but do
you know of a way to create the action as well via a BAPI etc, but not by
batch
input if I can help it ?
