I am not familiar with SRM / EBP, but I've worked with webtransactions
in IS-U (4.6D), and there was no option to fill in a report /
transaction... NOw in 4.7.2 there is...
What I did: I created the new task with object FORM and method
HTMLPROCESS, added the container elements and generated the
webtransaction. I got a report with screens which I could change.
 
Hell of a job, hard to maintain but very effective....

***STOP*** - don't go there!
You DON'T want to generate a new transaction for a SRM/EBP workflow
task.  
You need the task linked to a specific *EXISTING* transaction -that's
why you need to report it in to SAP - to make sure you have the correct
transaction.

It is just one click on the "Generate" (and a lot of clicks on the 'OK'
/ check for transport requests).
