Hi Rik,

a suitable way is to install the IXOS-Viewer, formaly AL-Viewer. You find
some topics in the OSS.

Hi all,

Please, can someone give us advise about the problem
described below?

We are currently involved in a project for developing
an invoice scanning solution in combination with SAP
Business Workflow. We are on SAP release 4.6b.

Proces:

The invoice will be scanned and than stored on an
external HTTP content server (version 4.5). The images
stored on the content server have the file extension
.TIF. After the scan process a workflow will be
started for completing and approving the scanned
invoice.

Requirements:

In the workflow it should be possible to approach the
scanned image via the SAP Archive Link. By clicking on
the generated archive link the image should be
retrieved by Archive Link from the HTTP content server
and displayed to the user.

Problem:

The problem that we are facing is as follows.

If we click on the generated Archive Link in de
workflow to open the scanned image, the Internet
Explorer opens and does not show the image.

We tried the same with images with the extension HTM
or JPEG. In this case the image will be showed in the
internet explorer.

Please, can you advise us how we are able to view TIFF
images in the workflow via the Archive Link in SAP
release 4.6b.
