for triggering the end of a batch job

Why not raise a job event and use that to trigger a small program that
raises an appropriate workflow event.

We need to trigger a workflow with the end of a scheduled batch job in
SAP.
We found many BAPIs for getting log of a batch job, but we didn't find
any
event linked to the end of a batch job.

Any idea will be wellcome...
