We actually applied the following note: 754425. That seemed to solve the problem for us.

Hi James, Anna:

I will first try out 781119. I have already tried 796350 and 793836 (this note is actually the exact error message '5A367' I am getting but it does not fix the problem!!!). I will let you know the results.

With regards,
Partha

Partha,

We also went through this recently. SAP recommended note 781119 as a fix and it worked for us.

Might be an idea to check that all your T77* HR tables are up to date. In SWU3, you can find the info against Check Entries from HR Control Tables.

Good luck!

Subject: Substitution Error Message in 4.7

Hi All,

I have trying to use SAP substitution via Business Workplace and I get an odd error message when I try to choose a substitute (e.g. a valid position) it says 'Object XXXXXXX exists from 0000.00.00 to 0000.00.00 only'. And, of course this does not let me maintain the substitute. I was hoping
someone had already run into this issue. I found OSS messages that seem tangentially related to the message:

796350: Workflow: Default substitution validity start date is incorrect'
384099: A008 Holder relationship exceeds object validity period

However, only the first one seems to apply for our release (4.7 extension set 2) and I am sure its even right. If any of you have an idea, please let me know.

With regards,
Partha Chatterjee
