Hi,
Someone (sorry, I can't remember who) wrote recently:
"Working in a 4,7 system I found this help on the binding options between
template and task : It looks like a "Programmed binding" is in the works.
I
haven't used it yet however. "
Just to let you know, programmed binding _is_ available in 4.7. It works a
treat.
I am using it to transform container elements while copying them from the
workflow
container to the task container.
To use programmed binding, go to the usual binding popup window and
right-click on the
black triangle in the middle of an empty mapping line. It gives you an
option to insert
a function module name (select "Programmed Binding - Container IF"
or "Programmed Binding - BOR Container").
Of course, you have to create this function module in advance. The
interface must match that of
the following function module:
FUNCTION swa_binding_template.
*"----------------------------------------------------------------------

*" IMPORTING
*" VALUE(DATAFLOW_EVENT) TYPE SWA_DAFLOW
*" VALUE(SOURCE_CONTAINER) TYPE SWFPARACNT
*" VALUE(TARGET_CONTAINER) TYPE SWFPARACNT

Simple, elegant, and very well-hidden :-) .
cheers,
Paul
