Vinod

I had seen this table contents with the help of a basis person ( I dont
have the authority) with a view to see the marking against AUTOF but I
found that AUTOF record does not exist. Does it mean that we have to create
this record instead of updating if it was there? Does it mean that this
entry was there before sup pack upgrade and disappeared after the upgrade?
We never looked at this table before upgrade.
I then thought I would seek a better counsel before going ahead doing
something like that. I have also opened an OSS message yesterday seeking
SAP opinion.

Let me know if inserting this record will solve all the problems we are
currently experiencing.

Thanks for your continued interest on this issue.

JB,

Please check for below in your system.

Table T77S0 contains an indicator specifying whether the substitute should
automatically see the additional work items when a substitution is
activated. This indicator should be set.

This setting can be processed using transaction SM30. The indicator must
bet
set for AUTOF.

Thanks

Vinod

Hi Pradeep

Thanks for your response.
We have only Personal Substitutions and the problem faced is on the same.
Note 789922 seems to address similar (not the same) symptoms but only for
Position Substitutions?

Thanks
JB

Subject: Workflow substitution problem

Hello Friends !

I am not sure if this issue has arisen with the recent support pack
upgrade, but workflow substitution is behaving in a weird manner right now.
While some users can create a substitute as before and use the
functionality normally, there are some instances experienced by some users
where they are not able to create and use personal substitution at all.
While the table HRUS_D2 shows the substitutions are entered, nothing is
seen in the substitutioner's inbox and the actual substitution of inbox
works erratically. During the investigations we found that when
substitution creation is attempted,
   sometimes ...
Substitutioner's work items are not being seen by the substitute
Substitutioner's work items are disappearing in both inboxes
Substitutioner's work items are, in quite questionable ways , re
appearing in the inbox of either the substitute or substitutioner.

Our basis patch level is SAPKB46C48. GUI level is SAPKB64004. I looked at
some of the OSS Notes ( 799887, 763598, 743871 and 767360, 752529, 753456)
but I could not find any specific fix to this problem.

I am sure, someone of you, may have faced this problem.

I am not able to search a certain related post in SAP-WUG repository,
because it has been set to obsolate since MIT server moved to Mailman
server and Search Engine is under constuction.

I would appreciate any valuable help/suggestion on the issue.

Thanks.

Vinod Ramchandani.
