Error in web service execution

Hi JV,

Have you configured and tested the workflow handler using WF_HANDCUST ?
Have you configured relevant entries in transaction SWFVISU?

Try this reference:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/45/a7863f445f4617e10000000
a114084/content.htm

Try that first.

I take you are using SBWP while MSS wants you to use UWL.

In which case you may need to set up your URL and parameters in
transaction WF_EXTSRV, generate a new task and include it in your
workflow that way.
But try SWFVISU first - if you are on a high enough release you might be
ok.

Subject: Re: Error in web service execution

Hi,

I'm wrecking my brains out on this one. I hope someone can enlighten me
on this matter.

Particularly, this is concerns Personnel Change Requests in Enterprise
Portal. We have upgraded our EP implementation to SP 12. I'm trying to
implement the standard PCRs that comes with EP. I'm testing the 'Change
Employee Group/Subgroup' right now.

1. All the config that I can think of is done.
2. When the user initiates the PCR from Portal, the workflow is
generated.
3. The approver sees the PCR in his SAP Inbox
4. When the approver double clicked on work item, Portal is
automatically started and after logging in he will get the message:

Error in Web service execution
E:SWF_HTTP:050 TS50000075

5. The URL in IE shows http://<our server
name>:8000/sap/bc/webflow/wshandler?wi_id=2038&logsys=RQACLNT310&task=TS
50000075&uname=JXVIRGIN&langu=E <http://<our server
name>:8000/sap/bc/webflow/wshandler?wi_id=2038&logsys=RQACLNT310&task=TS
50000075&uname=JXVIRGIN&langu=E>

Now, after checking the OSS Notes, I found note 646601 which says that
Workflow handler is no longer supported in MSS.

The necessary portal iView, com.sap.pct.hcm.pcr_eegroupsubgroup is
available and this was already entered in customising of the PCR in the
'Portal Component' field.

I find this all to be so confusing. Can some just explain to me what is
the actual thing that I need to do. SAP documentation isn't much help,
I'm afraid.

Thanks in advance,
JV
