help with secondary methods

Hi,

I have a secondary method in one of my workflow steps.
This method just shows a report of some info that I need. If I disable 
display of this report by some check in the business object method, then 
only a blank SAP screen opens up. I don't want it to open up a blank screen, 
instead it should just ignore the method. How do I do this inside the 
workflow. Thanks for the help in advance.
