Initial multiline element in Condition Editor

That's been available for a long time.  It was only in the very first
release or so we had condition editor that empty multiline evaluation
was a problem.

Howzit WF'ers!
 
In the bad old days, it wasn't possible to evaluate whether a multiline
element was empty or not, in the condition editor. Can anyone tell me
whether this has changed, or do we still have to do this stuff manually?
 
Naturally, since I am lazy, I'm hoping there is a way of using the
condition editor.
