Doubt- Workflow restarting after error

Hi Mike,
I got your point. But what is happening is, when I am restarting WF
with older version i.e.0000, in test system , it is making this olde
version as active version for wf definition and latest version 0001
becomes runtime saved version.. This is the problem / doubt.
In this case , what to do? As we have now latest version not active in
the system , and whatever new worklfows will atart will start now with
activated old version.

Regards,
Akshay

No, what I mean is that if a workflow starts with version 0000 then it
will continue with version 0000 until the end. If it goes into error and
you transport a new version, you cannot restart it using the new
version.

When you transport a new version 0001, the workflow in error will still
continue with 0000 after restart. Any NEW workflow will start with
version 0001 (provided your transport went without errors).

Cheers
Mike
