Which workflow are you re-starting? The main one or the errored sub-flow?

Subject: Restart of main flow leaves sub-sub-flow in error

Good afternoon all,
I've got an odd one, a picture is best here (4.7/6.20):

Workflow
  ---> Subflow
         ---> Dynamic Parallel Sub-sub-flow 1
         ---> Dynamic Parallel Sub-sub-flow 2
         ---> Dynamic Parallel Sub-sub-flow 3  <--ERROR

The last subsubflow has an error, as do all the calling flows. So far so
good. Fix problem, SWI2-DIAG, restart.

No joy: the main WF is back in process, and the sub-sub-flow that had the
problem remains in error.
A small clue is an entry in the main flow's log: WL802 Status Change from
COMPLETED to STARTED is not allowed.

Has anyone seen this and can shed some light?
OSS hasn't turned up any notes.
Cheers
Mike
