SAP SRM 4.0 Events; No entries in SWEL

This is *not* an error.   Wherever you have some sort of preview
functionality, SRM simulates events, and then acts as the event manager
itself.  So quite often the event never hits the standard event log.
If you have set up your events correctly, as if you were using the
standard event manager, then they will work correctly. 
 
There are a couple of restrictions:
1. You must use start conditions.
2. You must not use your own check function modules. 
 
If you are concerned about your event handling, you can still use
transaction SWU0 - Simulate event, and 
SWUE - generate event manually as per normal.

Hello all,
 
We are working with SRM 4.0 and have several problems with workflow. 
Most important issue is:
 
Transaction SWEL does not show any entries for most of the events
started.
Via SWELS we did set up the event trace etc.
 
Does anybody know how to fix, so we can see the events started in SWEL?
