<a href> command in work item description

Alexis,
I'm on 4.70 so sorry if this doesn't apply to you.
In SCOT, when I drill into SMTP, then click on Internet-Set, under raw
text if you have HTM then click on it.
If HTM isn't available, you must add a line to table SXCONVERT2. Just
copy the existing line with format_src 'T' and format_dst 'TXT', and
change the format_dst to 'HTM'. The existing function
SX_OBJECT_CONVERT__T.TXT does not need to be changed. After you save
this record, then 'HTM' should now be available for selection in the
dropdown.

Jim

James,

Thanks for responding. How do you configure it to send text as HTM? It
doesn't look like there is a standard conversion function for this.

However, I did find a way around it. After spending a several hours
trying to figure out how to configure SCOT to do this, I saw that in
program RSWUWFML2, there is a line which hard-codes the document type as
'TXT'. I made a custom copy and changed it to 'HTM'. Probably not the
best solution, but works like a charm...

Alexis,
In SCOT, is the node set to send text as HTM?

WUGers,

I saw in the archives that it was discussed using <a href> in a task
description to handle a URL. I have tried this, and it works when
looking at the email in SCOT. However, when the email gets to Outlook,
the entire command is written as text (ie, <a href="www.sap.com">SAP</a>
).

Has anyone done this successfully? I'm using RSWUWFML2 to send email
for work items. Would love to get this working!!!!

Thanks,
Alexis
