RSWUWFML / automatic forwarding definition

Word of caution: make sure users understand the "also place in inbox"
checkbox functionality. Speaking from an R/3 4.6C perspective, this
checkbox defaults to ON, which can cause casual users to have a massive
buildup of messages in their R/3 inboxes. The setting has no effect on
work items, but for notifications and other simple e-mail items, this
switch tells SAP whether to retain a copy of the e-mail once it's been
forwarded to an external system. Since most people will opt to read and
discard notifications in the target e-mail system (Outlook, Lotus,
whatever), if this is left on they may never go into their business
workplace and clean out the copies.

There is also a system-wide setting your basis administrator can
configure to popup a notice upon login that a user has unread documents
in his or her inbox. This can also help reduce such buildup.

Enjoy,
David

If you go to transaction SO01 (sap inbox)

then take the menu path Setting => office settings.

Their is a tab for Autoforwarding... you put in your email address and a
date range (make sure to change the date range. the default
is the autoforwarding will last one day).

In regard to RSWUWFML sending emails, one of the prerequisites is
"Automatic forwarding must be configured for the recipients in
question."

Please direct me to where this setting is defined.

Thank you for your assistance,
