Event Tracking for a FM

Hello All,
 Could you please give me a way of solution for this.
 I would like to know what are all the evnts that gets triggered when the FM 
"BP_SEND_MAIL" ( For that matter any FM ) is called.
 Is there any transaction or utility.. where the simulation of this can be 
done.?
 We are in 4.6C.
