Start workflow when new position is created

First of all: please don't introduce completely new topics without
changing the subject.

Second: is there an event created? If one is you need event linkage from
the event to your workflow (I assume in the workflow test you start the
workflow directly, not using an event). 

If there is no event, look at SWEHR3 (and SWEHR1 and SWEHR2 for
reference) and insert an entry for object type S infotype 1000. Poke
around in SWEHR2 and SWEHR1 for a while if it isn't immediately obvious
what to do.

Hello,

I am trying to do a workflow when a new Position is created in HR. 
That should be relatively simple. There is a task called pdotype_s but
it works only if I use the workflow test. It does not do anything, if I
use the transaction pp01 to create a position, I even go so far that I
create a relationship but it does not create a workflow. 

Do I have to write my own?
